"Naruto Shippuden" is in its 21st season, and the anime has already aired the explosive fight between Naruto and Sasuke which many thought would serve as the animated hit's final episode. However, it appears that there's more to come for "Naruto" fans all over the world as new reports indicate that episodes 484 and 485 will cover a new arc which will focus on Sasuke.

Last time on the anime, the show featured the "Boyhood Arc" which centered on a young Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Kakashi. Episode 483 had flashbacks on the lives of these four, with the first half of the episode featuring Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru talking about their hopes and dreams around a bonfire. The second part of the hour saw Kakashi learning to do simple chores such as fishing and cooking, and viewers also saw how he trained. It was also revealed that Kakashi's father broke the rules and died to save his friends, which explains why the character has always been a stickler for rules.

It was speculated that episode 483 will be the last of the flashbacks and childhood memories of the "Naruto Shippuden" characters as it moves on to a new arc which flash-forwards to Naruto and Sasuke's lives after their battle.

According to News Everyday, the new arc is called "Sasuke Shinden" and is based on the novel adaptation "Sasuke Shinden: The Book of Sunrise" which is about Sasuke's atonement journey. It was said that the new arc will span four episodes and will kick off on Dec. 1.

No word yet on whether the said new arc will indeed play out, as it was always expected that the next chapters will be about Naruto's son, Boruto. In the "Boruto" arc, it was speculated that fans will see an older and wiser Naruto as he guides his mischievous son into becoming a great fighter.
