Miley Cyrus trying to be more conservative offstage for Liam Hemsworth?

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth surprised fans when the two spent the New Year holiday together in Australia, and there are reports that the two have rekindled their relationship and have even renewed their engagement.

The singer-actress and the "Hunger Games" actor were engaged for 16 months before they broke up in 2013, and Cyrus almost immediately underwent a change as she began dressing in a more risqué fashion and performing onstage in a similar manner.

Now following their rumored reconciliation, a new report claims that Cyrus has reportedly promised Hemsworth that she will tone down her provocative ways when she's working and that she has vowed to dress more conservatively when she's not onstage.

A source told Grazia magazine (via Belfast Telegraph) that when the two split, the "Hannah Montana" star "went into overdrive partying and being provocative."

"Liam is quite conservative so it felt like she was reclaiming her own identity," the insider added. The source said that now, the "Wrecking Ball" singer feels like she has nothing left to prove and while she will continue to "push the envelope" when it comes to performing, Cyrus has been allegedly explaining to Hemsworth that her onstage persona is different from who she really is.

The source said that Cyrus has begun growing out her hair and letting her natural hair color show and she has even started wearing more conservative outfits and that she wants to show Hemsworth that she's "ready to settle down."

Cyrus stunned the whole world when she eschewed her fresh-faced Disney image in favor of a more mature persona during her performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. What followed was a string of provocative music videos and some risqué posts on social media. Incidentally, the singer's much-talked-about VMA performance came shortly after her split with Hemsworth on the same year.

Cyrus and Hemsworth have yet to confirm whether they have rekindled their relationship or not.
