Michelle Pfeiffer wants another go at being Catwoman, the iconic role that she inhabited 25 years ago. The three-time Oscar nominee recently recalled her experience in playing her first comic book character in a film.

Speaking to Variety, Pfeiffer said that she is still interested in playing Catwoman one more time, but would rather use CGI if ever she does a similar scene where she put a live bird in her mouth.

"I can't believe I did that. I could have gotten a disease," she told the publication.

The actress also noted the enduring influence of the film "Batman Returns," which had Michael Keaton playing Bruce Wayne/Batman, Danny DeVito playing Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin and Christopher Walken playing scheming industrialist Max Schreck.

Pfeiffer revealed that their film's success was all director Tim Burton's doing as he was able to bring his heart, vision and humor to the film.

Catwoman, also known as Selina Kyle, is one the most familiar villains in the "Batman" universe. The character was first portrayed in film by Julie Newmar, followed by jazz singer Eartha Kitt for the "Batman" TV series in the 1960s and then by Lee Meriwether for "Batman: The Movie."

Pfeiffer followed suit as Catwoman in "Batman Returns." Many consider her portrayal of the feline criminal as the best version of Catwoman to this day.

Pfeiffer's Catwoman in "Batman Returns" could be considered as one of the highpoints of the actress' illustrious acting career and as proof of her iconic portrayal, action figures in her image are still being made and sold — more than two decades after the release of "Batman Returns."

Even if she doesn't wear her latex costume and pointy cat ears on the big screen, there's no doubt that Pfeiffer's first go at being Catwoman will remain iconic for a long time.
