MacOS Sierra 10.12.5 beta on Mac App Store: Fifth beta version to launch soon

The Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 will soon be added to the Mac App Store. Although the operating system's fifth beta version has yet to launch, the developer's version is now available.

As per usual, the operating system's developer's version has launched before the next beta version. When the fifth beta arrives, Apple junkies should expect to find the Night Shift feature for Mac. It was first introduced in the latest beta update, the 10.12.4. The Night Shift feature can be activated through the Display section. This new addition allows users to keep track of the day's sunrise and sunset. It also allows users to conserve energy. Features such as the PDFKit APis and iCloud Analytics will be made available in the upcoming beta as well.

Reports say the update 10.12.5 can either be turned on and off manually through the Notifications Section or through Siri.

Apple has kept mum about the details of the upcoming beta. Thus, many have chosen to believe the Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 update will be a minor one. Reports say that aside from carrying over features that were introduced in preceding betas, the upcoming installment will come with fixes and improvements to the system's security.

The rumor mill has churned talk suggesting the much-awaited system update will not be unveiled during this year's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The event starts on June 5, Monday, and concludes on June 9, Friday. It will take place in San Jose, California.

On a different note, tech enthusiasts can expect to see the developer updates for watchOS 3.2.2, iOS 10.3.2, and tvOS 10.2.1. soon.

Apple has yet to announce the details of Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5; thus, it is best for Apple junkies to treat the recent reports with a grain of salt.

More updates should arrive in the weeks to come.
