LG G3: Options before LG releases flagship phone with purported 16mp camera later this year

Korean tech company LG displayed its smartphone devices at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week.

Although LG's next flagship phone – the LG G3 – will not be released until later this year, the company has put to display its phablet and mini smartphone options that are available for the time being.

Among the devices on display is the LG G2 mini, which features a 4.7 inch screen, 1.2 GHZ quad-core processor, and 1 GB RAM. The smartphone is a cousin to its flagship LG G2 phone, but doesn't come packed with the heavy hardware. The LG G2 features a massive screen stretched out to its bezel-less frame, packing the display size of a phablet in the size of a fairly large smartphone.

Another device is the LG G Pro 2, which has a 5.9 inch display, 2.26 GHZ Snapdragon 800 processor, GB RAM and a 13 megapixel camera. Spec-wise, not much is different from the LG G2 flagship, except for the humongous screen size.

The LG G2 has a 5.2 inch HD display which is super sensitive and feels great to the touch. The phone packs a 13 megapixel camera with advanced optical image stabilization, 2GB RAM, and blazing fast Qualcomm 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. The 3000 mAh battery keeps the device going all day, and its 32GB storage is enough to store all your favorite apps and snaps.

Although there's not much going around about the purported LG G3 specs, the camera is said to be improved to 16 megapixels, along with a super powerful octa-core processor, a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display, and 3GB RAM.
