In the next episode of "Lethal Weapon," Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and his partner Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) help out Detective Bailey (Michelle Mitchenor) with her case.

The trailer and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "Double Shot of Baileys," were just released recently, and they show Riggs and Bailey in a house, staking out a location across the street. Murtaugh is in the car watching the suspect's house and keeping tabs of the people inside it.

Apparently, Bailey's sister Jess (Alisha Wainwright) is being kept there against her will by a group of thugs. Later, it seems that the thugs find out that the cops are outside and watching them. Riggs tries to call Murtaugh, but the latter is on the phone. The unpredictable partner then throws a rock at the car to get Murtaugh's attention. The huge stone hits the windshield, which surprises Murtaugh.

All of a sudden, the hoodlums come out of the house and start shooting at the cops with their guns. They riddle the car with bullets, but the duo manages to duck and avoid the gunfire. One of the perpetrators tries to get away on a motorcycle, but Riggs takes out his revolver and shoots at him. The biker gets hit and collides with an oncoming car. The cops manage to contain the situation, but it remains to be seen if they can get to the bottom of Bailey's sister's situation.

In the last episode, Riggs experienced feelings of rage while on the job, which prompted the captain to have him see Dr. Maureen Cahill (Jordana Brewster), the bureau's psychiatrist. With her help, he realized that he still had not gotten over her mom's suicide.

"Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 14 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
