Lady Gaga, Christian Carino engaged; wedding set aside?

"Born This Way" singer Lady Gaga and her boyfriend might have been quiet about their relationship, but reports say that the two are already engaged.

US Weekly confirmed that the "Pokerface" singer and the 48-year-old Creative Artists Agency agent Christian Carino got engaged over the summer. Carino popped the question to the Grammy Award winner after asking her father for her hand.

Even with the engagement, the wedding bells might have to wait as Lady Gaga is still battling fibromyalgia and is focused on getting better. The condition, according to the National Health Service, takes a toll on people who had experienced traumatic or very stressful events, including operations, deaths, or childbirth. The illness often leaves the person experiencing pain all over the body, as well as fatigue, headaches, and difficulty in sleeping.

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, had shared her sickness before the release of her Netflix documentary, titled "Gaga: Five Foot Two." Due to her illness, she was forced to cancel her European tour, but the singer would always connect with her fans despite what she was going through, giving updates on her social media accounts.

Gaga and Carino were rumored to be dating after being seen smooching before the "Million Reasons" singer's performance at the Super Bowl Half Time in February in Houston, Texas. Days after this, Carino and Lady Gaga went to Tom Hilfiger's fashion show in California. An insider claimed that the pair were "pretty serious."

Lady Gaga was previously engaged to "Chicago P.D" actor Taylor Kinney. They had been together for five years before ending the relationship in July last year. Kinney proposed to "The Edge of Glory" singer in Valentine's Day in 2015. Prior to Kinney, Lady Gaga had dated musician Luc Carl.

Meanwhile, Carino was rumored to have dated "The Walking Dead's" Lauren Cohan who plays Maggie in the AMC series.
