Kim Richards may not be a regular cast member in the current season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," but a new report claims that the former child star is filming a new reality show with her daughter.

According to a source from Entertainment Tonight, Kim is working on a show with her daughter, Kimberly Jackson, and the insider adds that the new reality series centers on famous mothers and daughters who have dealt with issues while in the spotlight and are currently going through counseling.

The website also confirmed through a source that former "The Hills" star Heidi Montag and her mother will also be on the show. For now, the title of the said reality show is unknown and there is no information as to when and where the new series will start airing.

Kim certainly had a challenging year as the star's sobriety was questioned by her co-stars in season 5 of the Bravo show. Shortly after the season 5 reunion show last April, the 51-year-old was arrested for public intoxication. A few days after her arrest, the reality star appeared on Dr. Phil's show along with Kimberly and her other children, Brooke Brinson and Chad Davis.

It can be recalled that Kim walked out on the interview after Dr. Phil asked her about her use of drugs and alcohol and how it has affected her as a mother. But in the end, her children were able to convince her to seek help, and a few days after the interview aired Kim voluntarily entered a treatment center.

At the time, Kim said that one of the reasons why she has been in emotional pain is because of her fractured relationship with her sister, Kyle. The star also said that appearing on "RHOBH" took its toll on her and that some fans have been very critical of her.

Right now, Kyle says that her relationship with Kim is much better as she told OK! Magazine via Radar Online that they are in good terms.

"It's doing much better, which I'm very grateful for," said Kyle. "We're actually doing well now."
