Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth's engagement photos have been released. The couple shared their photos with Brides Magazine, and in an interview, Kaitlyn also talked about the inspiration for the photo shoot as well as their wedding plans.
One photo shows "The Bachelorette" star on the back of a red pickup truck, and Kaitlyn is clutching a bouquet while leaning over to kiss Shawn. Other photos show the two of them in wedding-ready attire, with Kaitlyn looking bridal in a lacy gown and a bejeweled headpiece while Shawn looked dapper in a black suit.
More photos on the magazine's website show the couple enjoying a romantic picnic while dressed in jeans and casual tops.
The pair chose an outdoorsy setting for their pictures as Kaitlyn told the magazine that it was "our kind of setting." The reality star added that both of them were comfortable with their photographer and that their sense of humor helped them to achieve the shots that they wanted.
On her fiancé, Kaitlyn said that she believes that they were meant to be together.
"He is my type to a T. I didn't even know that I had a type until I met Shawn," she said.
One reason why Kaitlyn said that they are good together is because they are "great at traveling together.
"Traveling is stressful!" the star said. "We bring cards on the plane, play games, have a glass of wine."
The star revealed that people have asked them what would happen to their relationship once the televised, extravagant dates were over, and she said that both of them agreed that they couldn't wait for that to be over and just live their lives as a normal couple.
The 30-year-old admitted that she is in the early stages of wedding planning and that for the wedding itself, Kaitlyn said that they will most likely splurge on an open bar and save on her wedding dress.
She also revealed that a TV wedding is not out of the question. Kaitlyn told the magazine that fans should expect some friends from the franchise to join her and Shawn for their special day.
"Don't be surprised if you see Whitney Bischoff or Becca Tilley in my wedding party!" she said.
