'Justice League' plot news: Deleted scene from the movie fixes a Superman plot hole

It seems even plot holes will not be able to harm the Man of Steel, as "Justice League's" deleted scenes address the glaring continuity or logical error for Superman (Henry Cavill) in the movie.

One of the deleted scenes teased in the 29-second video trailer for the special Blu-ray cut of the movie included how Superman or Clark Kent got back his suit, which was apparently destroyed when he, Batman (Ben Affleck), and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) fought Doomsday back in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." This climactic fight also resulted in Superman's apparent death.

The scene also included Kent having a moment in the fortress of solitude, Superman's headquarters where he retreated to meditate or simply reminisce about his parents and the destroyed planet of Krypton. The deleted scene apparently explains that Superman got a new costume, or at least a patched up one from the Fortress of Solitude, which he then used against his fight with Steppenwolf, Darkseid's elite soldier and the main antagonist of "Justice League."

Fans expecting the deleted scenes to include something about other members of the League might get disappointed, however, as the deleted scenes released on Blu-ray will most likely focus only on Superman. For all fans know, it could just be one long sequence of exposition for the Man of Steel and how he fits in the "Justice League" after his death prior to the movie.

There are also some speculations that most if not all of the deleted scenes will be the ones which director Zack Snyder shot before "Avengers" director Joss Whedon had to replace him due to personal problems. Website Screen Rant, however, argues that most of Snyder's trademark can be seen in the deleted scenes announcement video. Whether this could improve the quality of the movie more so than what Whedon did remains to be seen, though it is something that hardcore fans can look forward to once the Blu-ray is released on Feb. 13.
