Earlier this month, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard wrote on their official blog that they will be back in the U.S. sometime this August before heading back to Central America to continue their mission. It looks like the couple and their 4-month-old son, Israel, have already touched down in the U.S. as new reports claim that they are joining the rest of the Duggar family to attend the wedding of "Bringing Up Bates" star Michaella Bates in Tennessee.

On Thursday, Aug. 13, Jill took to Instagram to post a photo of herself, her husband, and baby Israel on a plane and captioned it, "Traveling! #lovemyfamily." She also posted a second picture on the same day, which showed her mother, Michelle, meeting Jill and Israel at the airport. Jill wrote, "Excited to be back with family for the weekend!"

The Daily Mail reports that Jill and Derick are making an appearance at Michaella's wedding to Brandon Keilen this Saturday, and the UP Network will capture the special event on camera for a special episode of "Bringing Up Bates."

The Bates family and the Duggars are good friends with each other, and it was earlier reported that Jana Duggar is going to be a bridesmaid at the wedding.

It appears that the wedding isn't the only reason why Jill and Derick are back in the country as The Inquisitr reports that they have been seen in New York along with Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald. The website reports that they were in the city to film the TLC special about child abuse, which was inspired by Josh Duggar's molestation scandal which led to the cancellation of the Duggars' show, "19 Kids and Counting."

TLC worked with the anti-abuse organizations RAINN and Darkness to Light to make the special titled "Breaking the Silence." According to the Darkness to Light website, the documentary will feature Jill and Jessa in a training session in New York City. The documentary will cover "several powerful child abuse survivor stories, as well as provide information on how to learn more about the issue, get help, and influence legislation."

"Breaking the Silence" airs on Aug. 30 at 10/9c on TLC.
