Jennifer Garner dating Patrick Dempsey rumors

Has Jennifer Garner moved on from Ben Affleck? Last summer, the two announced that they are divorcing after 10 years together. Now a report claims that the "Alias" actress is secretly dating "Grey's Anatomy" alum Patrick Dempsey, who split with his wife, Jillian Fink, early last year.

According to OK! magazine, Garner and Dempsey are "secretly dating" and have been "texting and Skyping" a lot over the past few weeks.

The two starred in the 2009 romantic comedy "Valentine's Day." A source told the magazine that they have been friends "for years" and that it was only natural for them to confide in each other.

"As soon as they started talking, the spark was evident to both of them," said the insider. "Jen was relieved—and excited."

"Patrick has been treating her like a queen. It's refreshing after Ben," the source added.

The insider added that Dempsey believes that Garner is perfect for him because the actor "can be a hothead, so talking to someone as calm and sweet [as] Jen is very soothing."

It was reported that Affleck's gambling and alleged affair with the family's former nanny, Christine Ouzonian, were the main factors which caused his marriage to the 43-year-old to crumble. Affleck has previously denied the rumors.

Though Garner and the "Argo" star have gone their separate ways, it was reported that the ex-couple are still living in separate areas of their property because the arrangement is ideal for their co-parenting set-up. The two have three children together: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.

While the two continue to spend time together, a source told People that the divorce is still on.

Dempsey and Fink separated early last year. Fink filed for divorce from Dempsey in January 2015 after more than 15 years of marriage. The two have three children: daughter Talulah, 13, and twin sons Sullivan and Darby, 8.
