Apple's latest operating system, iOS 7 and OS X 10.9, is expected to be released at the end the tech giant's World Wide Developer's Conference (WWDC), which will take place June 10-14, 2013.

For the past two operating systems, the iOS and iOS 5, Apple released its new OS at the end of their annual WWDC event.

The latest OS is slated to have a "flat" design, similar to the interface used for Windows 8 and Windows Phone. According to leaked photos, the design is set to feature bolder colors.

The previous Lock Screen for iOS 7 is also rumored to be replaced with a "shine-free, black interface."

New features will include integration with Flickr and Vimeo, and enhanced support for Maps and Siri.

Also at the WWDC, Apple is expected to unveil its new line of Macs, including Macbook Pro and Macbook Air laptops.

There has been speculation that the new line of Macbook laptops (Pro and Air) will be only available in retina display, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chu Kuo, the power laptops may come with the rumored Intel Haswell processor, which was officially launched this week. The chips offer improved battery life and improved graphics.

The 2012 line of Macbook Pro notebooks are packed with Ivy Bridge processors.

There was also talk that the Macbook Pro will may drop the optical drive, but latest rumors suggest that Apple will keep it.

As Apple prepares for the launch of the new Macbook Pro/ Air, major retailers are dropping the price of its current models. Apple is now selling its 13-inch Macbook Pro for educational customers for only $999.

Meanwhile, as with all the latest OS updates, the Evasi0n Jailbreak iOS 7 is expected to be available this summer or autumn, after the official launch of the operating system this week., according to evad3rs.net. The jailbreak can be used for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
