iOS 7 release date imminent: Apple begins testing iOS 7.01, iOS 7.02, and iOS 7.1 ahead of iPhone 5S, 5C release

Although the iOS 7 has yet to be officially released to the public, Apple is reportedly testing three updates, which include the iOS 7.01, ios 7.02, and ios 7.1.

All three updates are for the iPad, iPhones and iPod touch.

The latest report comes from 9to5Mac, which claims that the updates were spotted in its web analytics. The report suggests that bug fix updates will be brought for the iOS 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 while new functionality will be brought to the iOS 7.1 to new hardware such as the iPad 5 and iPads mini 2, which is slated to be unveiled at an event in October.

The iOS 7 will be rolled out to the public on September 18. The new iOS will be completely revamped from Apple's original mobile operating system.

The new mobile operating system will arrive before the release of the new iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S, which are expected to hit the shelves on September 20. The update will be available to download for free for iPhone 4, 5, 5C, and 5S,, iPads, iPad mini, and iPod touch.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 5C stared September 13 for customers who want a colorful budget iPhone –available in green, white, blue, pink and yellow.
