Fighting game "Injustice 2" has seen many new characters this year, and recently, Warner Bros. Interactive released a trailer introducing the next addition to the roster of fighters in the game: The Atom.

The trailer showed what The Atom pretty much can do in the game. "Armed with his quantum bio-belt and a prodigal knowledge of physics, players can utilize all of scientist Ryan Choi's subatomic powers to deliver justice against Superman's regime," it narrated.

For those unfamiliar, The Atom is named as such because he can downsize and shrink while retaining his powers. Players could take the role of Ryan Choi in the game, the fourth Atom in the comics, who is a professor. Ryan Choi takes after predecessor Ray Palmer, who in the trailer was established as already dead.

The Atom's belt is in sync with his brainwaves, which enables him to shrink and then grow back with the same capabilities. He also has super strength and other useful hand-to-hand combat skills. His shrinking abilities, as seen on the footage, can be used to avoid being hit by enemies. The Atom can powerfully hit his opponents as well at his minuscule size, and he could easily retaliate against his nemesis by growing and then hitting them.

The trailer showed The Atom battling it out with Black Manta, featuring the former's shrink ray and other weapons. Also noticeable was his look, which was faithful to the real character, which is also a feature known of "Injustice 2" characters, giving an enjoyable experience for gamers.

The Atom is part of the third batch of Fighter Pack DLC, which included the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Enchantress. It will also be available to those who have bought the Ultimate Edition or Ultimate Pack on Dec. 12 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
