Justice will finally be served to PC gamers, as the PC version of "Injustice 2" has been announced for the said gaming platform.

Developer NetherRealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive (WB) have finally confirmed that the PC port of the superhero fighting video is now in development and will soon have a PC release date slated for Fall. The said PC port of "Injustice 2" is being handled by Polish developer studio QLOC. It is worth noting that QLOC was also responsible for the PC version of "Mortal Kombat XL," which was also made by NetherRealm Studios.

A beta for the PC version of "Injustice 2" has also been announced, though its initial start date of Oct. 25 was apparently delayed indefinitely. WB has not yet commented on the exact beta release date. Regardless, the game's PC version is now inevitable and will likely be available on Steam later in the year. The beta delay having an effect on the final unannounced release date remains to be seen.

"Injustice 2" was first released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in May and is the sequel to 2013's "Injustice: Gods Among Us." The sequel follows the story of the predecessor and takes place five years after a consciously rogue and lethal Superman was defeated and imprisoned by Batman. Batman and his remaining loyal friends in the Justice League attempt to help the world recover from the destruction Superman has caused while also employing the help of his former enemies, such as Harley Quinn, who joins Batman after Superman kills his boyfriend, the Joker in the first game.

Players will be able to fight as any member of the Justice League as well as their enemies, including Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Brainiac, Dark Seid, Gorilla Grodd, Superman, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Black Canary, and more as the developers will keep updating the roster with several downloadable contents (DLC) containing characters.

"Injustice 2" has received critical acclaim ever since it was released on the two consoles and is actually hailed as one of the best fighting games of the year.

No exact release date has been announced for "Injustice 2" for the PC, but it is scheduled to arrive sometime in Fall this year.
