Hulk Hogan opens up on his expulsion from WWE

Hulk Hogan has laid low from the public after his scandal leaked in 2015. Now, the former wrestling star is opening up and sharing some details about his eventual expulsion from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

In a Sept. 24 episode of "OBJECTified" aired FOX News, Hogan discussed the moment he learned that he was getting the boot from the sports entertainment company.

The WWE sacked Hogan in 2015 after his sex tape came out. In the video, the wrestling star could be heard uttering anti-black sentiments and venting his anger at the idea of his daughter dating a black man. Hogan dropped the n-word a lot of times.

The former WWE star revealed that he did not think that he would be fired. He further said that when the tape started to generated news buzz, he called WWE that night. He was surprised to learn that he had been fired the following morning. The sacking caught him off guard and did not expect it because he felt that the top brass of WWE knew who he was and what his character is. He maintained that the person on the video is not what he is.

Since being fired, Hulk Hogan has been treated as a persona non grata by the WWE regarding its history. While the former WWE champion admitted that he felt personally hurt about his wrestling legacy being ignored by the wrestling company, he understands that it is a decision made from a business standpoint. At this point, Hogan is not sure if WWE will ever ask him to return but is still open to the possibility.

The "OBJECTified" episode tackled Hulk Hogan's rollercoaster wrestling career, the health problems he's been experiencing, and answered the much talked about trial against media site Gawker and more on his leaked tape.
