"Hearthstone" is playing its cards right for Halloween, as the online trading card game (TCG) releases a new hero as a Halloween event gift.

The new hero, named Warlock Nemsy Necrofizzle will be given away for free starting Oct. 17 at any Fireside Gathering Tavern. The new hero will then still be free even after the Halloween event ends for the game. Players who want to try out the new hero and her deck can participate in a Fireside Brawl at the Fireside Gathering Tavern, as the Halloween event will be held in the said Tavern.

The Fireside Brawl is a Halloween exclusive "Hearthstone" tag team game mode where six players compete in a 3 vs. 3 game. Players can either find a Gathering event at the Tavern and join a tag team match with anonymous players or host their own Gathering tag team match where they can control who joins the game. Nemsy will be appearing at any Fireside Gathering match regardless of the season from Halloween onwards.

Nemsy Necrofizzle is a pint-sized Warlock and is known to be a gnome. Not much is known about her, but she was first featured in the artwork of "Whispers of the Old Gods" riding on the back of a Bog Creeper in the in-game artwork for the card. She is also seen fishing from the back of a Fen Creeper in the in-game artwork for the card. It seems that Nemsy's specialty as a Warlock then would be summoning or controlling Creepers to aid her or do her bidding.

Players who favor the Warlock Gul'dan, however, might not want to obtain Nemsy though, as the Warlock gnome will replace him once players have acquired her through participating at a Tavern Gathering event. Despite the two Warlocks having a different persona, their special ability remains the same. Life Tap allows the players to draw a card while taking two damage to their health pool. Nemsy will have her own animation for the ability, however.

Warlock Nemsy Necrofizzle will be available starting today, Oct. 17, onwards.
