The list of women Harvey Weinstein has harrassed is growing, as actress Salma Hayek has also claimed that the former movie studio owner allegedly sexually assaulted her.

According to an op-ed published in New York Times and written by the 51-year old actress herself, Salma has revealed a list of Harvey's alleged sexual advances towards her, which she refused.

These indecent proposals include Weinstein doing things such as appearing night after night at Salma's hotel unexpectedly despite not being a part of her current movie. He also asked her to shower with him, watch her shower, give him a massage, give her oral sex, get a massage from a naked friend of his, get naked with another woman, and perhaps even more. Salma has also stated that Harvey fumed with rage every time she refused him, claiming that he hated the word "no" the most.

This was after she took a leap of faith and signed up for a project which involved Miramax, Harvey's Hollywood empire back then.

Additionally, Harvey's abuse even extended to when they were out in public, notably during the Venice Film Festival where she was physically dragged by Harvey during the opening night. Afterward, and because of her compliance, she was then invited to Harvey's private party where a lot of women whom she thought were models were actually high-priced prostitutes.

Salma alleged that Harvey even went as far as threatening to kill her as a method of persuasion, which was definitely a far cry from the initial sweet talking he did. His exact words, according to Salma were, "I will kill you, don't think I can't." Soon after, it dawned on Harvey that Salma was not going to give in to him for the movie role she wanted, Harvey allegedly gave role and the script to someone else.

Harvey gave her the option to continue as long as she would agree to have sex with another woman. Salma, having spent a lot on rewriting the script and working hard to circumvent Harvey's harsh conditions, had to agree since refusing would only waste the time and efforts her crew had spent on the said movie.

Salma's accounts have cemented the notion that Hollywood was not a friendly and accommodating place for women due to people like Harvey. Salma has then urged other victims, not only of Harvey but of other men in the Hollywood industry, to speak up and stand against their abusers.
