Developer and publisher Crazy Monkey Studios is taking the gun and not leaving the cannoli, as its new game "Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2" has just been announced for the PC and the consoles.

Crazy Monkey has also revealed the release dates of the upcoming sequel along with a new launch trailer showing off the highlights of the game. "Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2" will be released for the PC on March 2 while the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4 (PS4) will be receiving the game at a later date, which is yet to be specified by the developers.

"Guns, Gore &Cannoli 2" will also continue where its predecessor left off, but with a considerable amount of time after the events of the first one — 15 years to be exact. This puts the game time period in 1944 during the height of the allied offensive in World War II (WWII) where Nazi Germany is facing heavy offensives and retaliation from all sides by the Soviet Union, the United States and Great Britain.

This puts the protagonist of the game, Vinnie Cannoli, an Italian-American mafia member, joining the Allies in their fight against the Nazis, hence the games title. This means an upgraded arsenal for Vinnie that the players will be able to use, such as the iconic Tommy Gun which is the standard submachine gun for the U.lS. Army during WWII as well as an iconic tool for the 1940s to 1950s mafiosi.

During the 15 years that have passed during the game's timeline, Vinnie also seems to have trained a lot more to be an efficient mafioso, as he will now be able to do 360 aiming, double jumping, kicking, jump-kicking, dodge rolls, somersaults, dual guns and a weapon wheel. This makes the game a lot more action-oriented and gives the players more options to unleash carnage against the Nazis.

The signature dark humor of "Guns, Gore & Cannoli" will also be present, making for an entertaining adult adventure in war-torn Europe. Console owners should stay tuned for release date updates on "Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2."
