Gigi Hadid is reportedly itching to get engaged to her current flame, former One Direction member Zayn Malik.

The supermodel allegedly has been feeling left out after learning that her former flame Joe Jonas is engaged to be married to "Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner. The 22-year-old Hadid is now looking at Malik, 24, to put a ring on it.

The "Pillowtalk" singer is undoubtedly in love with his lady love, but the catch is, he does not want to get hitched now. Malik knows that Hadid is the one for him but would rather wait one more year before asking for her hand in marriage.

A source said, "Rushing into a marriage is the last thing Zayn wants," adding that aside from his musical career, Malik is also focused on conquering his problems with anxiety before popping the question to Hadid.

That's understandable given that Malik has a lot going on in his life plus he's got a rising musical solo career. While Hadid is in no rush to compete with her ex, the model still dreams of walking down the aisle with a man she loves in a fairytale wedding.

The couple has been dating and living together for two years and both feel that they've found a soulmate in each other. In an interview with Us Weekly, Malik described their relationship as "normal." The singer added they both cook for each other. They also try not to think about dating in the spotlight and just concentrate on their relationship and do right by each other.

It can be remembered that Malik proposed to Little Mix member Perrie Edwards when he was just 20 and after two years together, the couple parted ways in 2015. Their separation was infested with rumors of cheating which Malik vehemently denied.
