'General Hospital' spoilers, recap: Franco makes a devastating discovery

Franco makes a devastating discovery, on General Hospital ABC/ General Hospital

Thursday on "General Hospital," Ric took Nina to Shadybrooke, but Nina said that she was fine and that she needed to talk to Franco. Ric said that she had to stay at the institution because she was not well. They argued about Nina's hallucinations, and Ric warned her that if she ever hallucinates in public she could get into trouble and that she could go to jail for kidnapping. He said that he would help her get through this, but for now, she had to do as he says. He brought out the commitment papers and told her to sign them. Ric urged her to do it, telling her that it's better for her to be at Shadybrooke than in prison. Nina signed the papers, and as she was being taken to her room, Franco appeared.

Meanwhile, Silas walked in on Ava and Morgan in bed and was livid. He screamed at Morgan for being selfish and hoped that he gets what he deserves for hurting his daughter. Morgan said that whenever he's with Denise/  Ava, something happens. Ava told Morgan to let her talk to Silas alone.

After Morgan left, Silas told her that she may have stopped him from telling Morgan, but she can't stop him from telling Kiki the truth. Ava said he's bluffing, but Silas said he's serious. Ava begged him not to do this to her or to Kiki, but Silas said that the truth should come out and nothing shall stop him from telling Kiki. After he left, Morgan asked Ava if Silas wouldn't tell, and she told him that he would.

At Metro Court, Ric arrived and told Madeline that he had convinced Nina to commit herself to Shadybrooke.
Silas arrived at his apartment and called Kiki to leave her a message. He said that she should come see him when she returns — he had something important that he needed to tell her.

Here is what to expect on "General Hospital" on Friday, July 31: Nina is furious with Silas; Patrick has an update on Hayden's condition; Franco makes a devastating discovery.

"General Hospital" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. on ABC.
