The cast and crew of "Game of Thrones" are currently in Spain as they continue to film the seventh season of the HBO series. Over the past few weeks, several spoilers about the new season have been leaked online, and this week, a new report claims that the role of Dickon Tarly has been recast and will be played by a "Black Sails" actor when the show returns next year.

According to Watchers on the Wall, actor Tom Hopper was photographed sitting beside James Faulkner, who plays Randyll Tarly, on a bench in Cáceres City. The photo, combined with another sighting of the actor with "Game of Thrones" stars this week, appears to indicate that Hopper will be the latest addition to the show's cast.

It was speculated that the series recast the role of Sam's (John Bradley-West) brother, Dickon, and the character will now be played by Hopper. Viewers got a glimpse of Dickon, formerly played by Freddie Stroma, in a season 6 episode wherein Sam and Gilly (Hannah Murray) made an appearance at the Horn Hill family dinner.

As for the reason for the recast, it was said that Stroma, whose credits include "UnREAL," and "Pitch Perfect," may be too busy to work on the HBO series since he is currently working on the new ABC series "Time After Time." The actor will play the role of H.G. Wells in the show.

Hopper will reportedly be part of an action-packed scene which will see Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and her dragons attacking a caravan train bringing goods looted from Highgarden back to King's Landing. Dickon and Randyll are said to be participating in the ambush/battle scene, which includes 60 horses and many extras.

It was previously reported that season 7 will see the first meeting between Daenerys and Jon Snow (Kit Harington). It was also said that a massive scene which includes most of the leads in the series will be in the upcoming installment.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 premieres in summer 2017 on HBO.
