In the next episode of "Fresh Off the Boat," Louis Huang (Randall Park) plays matchmaker as he invites Grandma Huang's (Lucille Soong) ESL teacher Bernard (George Takei) for Thanksgiving dinner.

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment titled "The Day After Thanksgiving" was just recently released and showed Louis welcoming Bernard into their home for the holiday dinner. Apparently, Grandma is very fond of Bernard and has a flirtatious relationship with him at their English school. Louis saw the chance to bring them closer together by inviting Bernard to the gathering. Louis and Bernard are shown exchanging pleasantries and are all smiles at the party. Grandma is clearly smitten at the dinner table as they partake in the festive meal. Louis's wife Jessica (Constance Wu) is surprised that Grandma cooked the whole meal which strongly suggests that she did it to impress Bernard.

Meanwhile, Louis's son Evan (Ian Chen) wants to prove that he is mature enough to watch an R-rated movie with his brothers. He therefore asks Eddie (Hudson Yang) and Emery (Forrest Wheeler) to sneak him into an R-rated film. It is expected that things will end up with them getting into trouble. It remains to be seen how Evan will be caught by the management of the cinema and if their parents will find out about it.

In the last episode, Louis's softball team called the Cattleman's Ranch went up against Jessica's group named the Denim Turtle. She wanted to prove to her husband that she was capable of coaching a team to victory. Her team did eventually win by a huge margin which humbled Louis, who congratulated her in the end. He was happy for her nonetheless.

"Fresh Off the Boat" season 4 episode 7 will air on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
