In the next episode of "Fresh Off the Boat," Louis Huang (Randall Park) tries to fix his wife Jessica's (Constance Wu) relationship with her father.

The synopsis and promotional photos for the upcoming installment titled "Four Funerals and a Wedding" showed Louis and his family attending the funeral of Jessica's aunt. When the husband finds out that Jessica seems a bit distant with her dad, he tries to help bridge the gap between them. She is shown talking to her father and exchanging pleasantries. There seems to be nothing wrong at first glance. However, in another picture, they appear to be having a slight argument over something that has yet to be known. Being the caring husband, Louis wants to help make things right between them but his actions may have some unfavorable consequences.

Meanwhile, Evan (Ian Chen) decides to make his brother Eddie (Hudson Yang) the executor of his will in the event that something happens to him. This prompts Emery (Forrest Wheeler) to contest Evan's decision and claims that he is the better brother and should be the executor. Emery and Eddie end up fighting over who is the better older brother to Evan. It remains to be seen if Jessica and her dad will be closer to each other and also who will have claim to being the better older sibling.

In the last episode, Louis tried to make his son Evan spend time with him on Halloween. Instead, Evan wanted to go to a neighbor's party. This disappointed Louis because he wanted to go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with Evan and his other kids. In the end, he realized that his kids would outgrow Halloween eventually and that was alright.

"Fresh Off the Boat" season 4 episode 5 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
