"Final Fantasy XV" on the PC is being finalized now with a release date in sight and some new system requirements in order to play the game up to its glorious 4K resolution.

As usual with PC ports of AAA games, the graphics will be significantly better than that of the consoles, and it will have better performance across the board due to the highly modular capacity of modern PCs. However, that does not mean users with old PCs will be left out since "Final Fantasy XV" still gives a lot of wiggle room for gaming hardware from five years ago.

The minimum system requirements of "Final Fantasy XV" is at least a Windows 7 64-bit operating system (OS), and Intel Core i5-2500 or an Advanced Micro Systems (AMD) FX-6100 as its central processing unit (CPU) paired with at least 8 gigabytes (GB) of random access memory (RAM), and last but not the least, a graphics processing (GPU) unit of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or GTX 1050 or an AMD Radeon equivalent which the developers did not indicate. This will ensure playable frame rates on a resolution of 1280 x 720 (720p), the lowest supported by the game.

Meanwhile, its recommended specification is a CPU of Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-8350 paired with 16 GB of system RAM, while its GPU must be a GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB of video RAM or the AMD Radeon equivalent, which again, was not indicated by the developers of the game. These hardware specifications will ensure that the game will run smoothly in a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (1080p). For the minimum and recommended requirements, a hard disk space of over 100 GB is necessary.

For those with 4K monitors and a lot of money to spend, the 4K resolution requirements for the game include Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X for the CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti. This will bring the hard disk space consumption to about 155 GB though.

"Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition" will be released for the PC on March 6.
