'Dying Light: The Following' DLC release date

 Dying Light

"Dying Light," the action survival game, is now almost ready to launch the next part of the story for fans of the game.

"Dying Light" was first released in February as an action survival game where gamers take on the role of Crane to venture out into a world filled with deadly zombies. During the game, however, Crane gets infected by a zombie bite. In order to keep from turning, he has to take a drug and use his survival and Parkour skills to survive. The game takes players into day and night settings, which makes the game much harder.

The game now continues the story of Crane with its upcoming release of "Dying Light: The Following." This next chapter sees Crane facing the zombies as well as other groups that have connections with the zombie apocalypse. The game will be set in the outback and bring with it new items that will help Crane in his survival.

According to Tech Times, "Dying Light: The Following" might be released early next year. Though no exact date has been given for the release of the game, a statement from its producer hinted on the timeline for the game's downloadable content.

Tymon Smektala, producer for "Dying Light," said during a press conference that "Dying Light: the Following" will be launched during the first quarter of 2016. He also said that, "This gives us enough time to put in all the content and surprises we have planned for you guys." Smetkala also added that fans of the game should watch out for upcoming teasers for the game. He also promised that Tech Land will announce the exact date of the release once they have finalized it.

"Dying Light: The Following" will be released early next year for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Season pass holders of "Dying Light" will get the downloadable content for free. Those who don't have a season pass, however, can get the DLC for $14.99.
