For players of online shooting game "Destiny 2," it pays to know where Xur might be located. Each week, the merchant offers a wide range of weapons and armors.

Xur, who sells arms as well in other "Destiny" games, could be found near the Giant's Scar fast travel point on Io. In particular, he is found to be at the cave, which can also be easily located using the planet map.

For this week, Oct. 27 to 31, Xur's items include a D.A.R.C.I Sniper rifle for 29 Legendary Shards. This item is not advisable because it would not cause too much damage to enemies, Polygon reported. Rolling Stone also noted that this item would not be used too much as well.

On the other hand, several other items should be noted by players who want to succeed in the game. The Knucklehead Radar Hunter helmet, which costs 23 Legendary Shards, is a helpful tool in targetting and aiming. The Actium War Rig Titan chest piece, available for 23 Legendary Shards, will be very helpful in causing great destruction to enemies. It automatically reloads auto rifles that would provide a hassle-free and effective shooting spree. The Eye of Another World Warlock helmet is also available for 23 Legendary Shards.

Players can avail of the said items at the maximum level of 270. Every week, Xur returns and brings different items that could or could not be useful to players. Xur in "Destiny 2" accepts Legendary Shards instead of Strange Coins. Players can collect Legendary Shards by disassembling weapons.

Xur arrives every Friday at 5 a.m. EDT and disappears every Tuesday. He will pop up in different zones in the planets Io, Nessus, Earth, or Titan.

"Destiny 2" revolves around the adventures of Guardians as they fight their way to Ghaul, the leader of the Red Legion, which had taken over Last City. The game is developed by Bungie.

"Destiny 2" had long been available to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. The game can also be played on PC, which was just recently launched.
