Disney Channel officially released the first official trailer for the highly anticipated original TV movie "Descendants 2."

Based on the new trailer, Mal (Dove Cameron) and her group of friends, who used to be villains, will return to the Isle of the Lost when she realizes that living the life of a royalty does not suit her.

However, Mal will also realize that Uma (China Anne McClain) will not be happy to see her again since she is still hurting from not being chosen to transfer to Auradon. The trailer reveals she wants to get the magic wand of the Fairy Godmother (Melanie Paxson) and kidnap King Ben (Mitchell Hope) so Mal will have no choice but to save him.

Aside from the trailer, the network also released the latest music video of the sequel's opening song "Ways To Be Wicked" where Mal, Evie (Sofia Carson), Carlos (Cameron Boyce), and Jay (Booboo Stewart) are seen cooking a cauldron full of apples. But instead of poisoning those who eat it, the apple will turn into a wicked person.

The main cast of the TV movie introduced the music video at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards over the weekend.

In an interview with E! News, Stewart revealed that the song could be considered as his favorite musical number for season 2. "It has all the feelings of the Isle of the Lost, and it has this drive that never backs off. It was really fun to shoot, and I had a great time doing it," the actor stated.

On the other hand, Carson believes the song is the best choice to open the upcoming movie sequel. "We're all in Auradon except we have now turned Auradon wicked. 'Ways to Be Wicked' was shot at a beautiful castle and Evie's verse is in this gorgeous classroom with the most incredible dancers."

"Descendants 2" will premiere simultaneously on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Lifetime, Freeform, and ABC on July 21, Friday.
