Last week on "Days of Our Lives," Andre discovered Stefano's body in the abandoned building before it was blown up. Meanwhile, Steve learned that Kayla was missing while Daniel's loved ones came together for his funeral.
Steve found one of Kayla's charms from her bracelet at Ava's place so he left a message for Ava to call him him right away. The two met at the park, and Ava told him to find their son in exchange for the return of his wife. Steve threatened her and said that she would wish she was dead if she hurt Kayla, and Ava sneered and said that that she's almost dead anyway.
Later, Steve found Joey drunk in the park and he told his son that life has consequences. Upon arriving home, Joey found Ava handcuffed to the table, and Steve told him that she kidnapped his mother and that he was keeping Ava there for the meantime.
At the funeral, Parker left his stethoscope in front of Daniel's picture and Nicole gave a speech, saying that Daniel was the one who taught her how to love and forgive. Later, Brady told Nicole that he had another memory, but it's not one of his—it's Daniel's.
Andre called Chad and said that there had been a breakthrough in the search for Stefano. Andre called Dr. Tibbs and asked him to come over to help him with the injuries that he sustained in the building. While the doctor was stitching him up, one of Andre's hired men showed up and told him what Hope and Rafe are up to.
This week, Steve makes a deal with Ava in an attempt to get Kayla back. Joey catches Steve and Ava in a private moment. Meanwhile, Eric confronts Jennifer about her use of painkillers, and Andre tries to convince Chad that Hope killed Stefano.
