It's only a few days until "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" gets released, and fans cannot wait to play the enhanced title. As a way to tease the game's outstanding graphics, publisher THQ Nordic released new screenshots and a new trailer, and in the clip, it was confirmed that the title will come with PlayStation 4 Pro support.

According to GamingBolt, the upcoming game is the first of THQ Nordic's titles that will come with support for the new PlayStation console. The company also announced that they are working on making a version of the game available for the Nintendo Wii U, but it is unclear when it will be coming to the console.

Earlier this year, the website had a chance to speak with Reinhard Pollice, business and product development director at THQ Nordic, and the executive talked about the game's remaster. On the changes done to the 2010 game, Pollice said that they have done a lot of reworks on the shadow quality by increasing the resolution by four times and using various methods to make the game look better.

"We have also added some nice post processing effects like chromatic aberration, sharpen and FXAA but we know that they are a matter of taste so users can switch them off — even on the console versions," Pollice explained.

The executive said that the game would run at 1080p resolution and at 60 frames per second on Xbox One and PS4. The PC version of the reworked game will have some more options but Pollice said that these will be made of "pretty basic stuff."

It's possible that a revamped version of the original game will ease fans' frustrations over the long wait for "Darksiders 3." As of the moment, THQ Nordic has yet to confirm if a third installment for the gaming series is in the cards for the company.

"Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" will be out on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Nov. 22 and on PC on Nov. 29.
