After revealing that "Marvel's Daredevil" will return to Netflix for season 3, speculations about Matt Murdock/Daredevil's next biggest villain continues to come out.

During the Wizard World Pittsburgh event, lead star Charlie Cox mentioned that he believes that the ruthless assassin Bullseye will be the perfect addition to the plot of "Marvel's Daredevil" season 3.

"It's no secret, I've said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I'd like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it's a really interesting opportunity," the actor stated during the event as mentioned by Slash Film. Cox also mentioned that his co-stars Deborah Ann Woll and Elodie Young do not agree with him about the participation of the character for season 3 because the character is known in the Marvel Comics as the person who both killed Woll's character Karen Page and Yung's Elektra.

While the issue about the Daredevil's next villain is still unresolved, fans of the series will have to wait for a long while before they can watch the new episodes of "Daredevil" season 3.

In an interview with Seat42F, Woll revealed that season 3 will be aired later than expected because of the timeline of the Marvel's Cinematic Universe on Netflix. "They have to get 'Defenders' out first," the actress stated. "I speak with Doug [Petrie] and Marco [Ramirez] every once in a while and they're hard at work. [Laughs] I don't know if I want to know, or if I'd rather sort of wait and find out when they're ready. Things change so much as well," she added.

The next lineup of actors who will join the upcoming season of "Daredevil" also remains a mystery, but speculations claimed that "Luke Cage" star Mike Colter and "Jessica Jones" actress Krysten Ritter will possibly appear to reprise their roles in the TV series.

Netflix is expected to air "Daredevil" season 3 sometime in 2018.
