"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is crashing to the  PC soon, as the developers have announced that the game will be ported to the gaming platform.

Developer Vicarious Visions and publisher Activision have revealed that the classic collection "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" will land on the PC on Jul. 10 after a year of exclusivity deal with Sony on the PlayStation 4 (PS4). The game compilation has had a successful record last year on the PS4, hence the upcoming PC version.

"Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is actually the first three "Crash Bandicoot" games but built from scratch and remastered to make it look on par with today's graphical and audio standards. The original gameplay design was kept intact though, making it quite a nostalgic treat for long-time fans of the franchise.

Since the "Crash Bandicoot" compilation game is now being ported to the PC, players can expect the triple remaster to utilize the graphical powers of modern PCs. This means visual features that are otherwise not available for the console or difficult for them to sustain such as 4K resolution, a fluid 60+ frames per second (FPS) frame rate and higher resolution textures coupled with the ability to adjust graphical fidelity based on the power of the gaming hardware.

Regardless, PC gamers will now be able to enjoy the "Crash Bandicoot" franchise as it was intended nearly two decades ago for the old consoles but with updated graphics and sound.

Meanwhile, the apparent success of the remastered franchise gave somewhat of an inspiration to the publisher, Activision. Rumors are, they are now taking the titles more seriously due to their potential for success and profitability, meaning belated sequels are in order. One such leak even revealed a brand-new "Crash Bandicoot" game that will be released in the year 2019. This was according to fansite crashmania.net. Additionally, other rumors suggest that Activision now has a five-year plan for the "Crash Bandicoot" franchise, meaning there may be more than one new game being planned.
