In "Chicago Fire," Gabriela Dawson took a sharp turn after Matthew Casey decided to return to her. However, fans are still speculating on whether or not she's ready to share her life with him as well as baby Louie in the upcoming fifth season of this series.

According to the Ecumenical News, a lot of fans agree that Gabriela's storyline proves to be the most melancholic and depressing. After all, despite the fact that her and Matthew loving each other, they broke up due to a traumatic event that changed their lives for the worse. After her miscarriage, her relationship with Casey turned sour, so while her beloved moved on to become a hero of the city, she was forced to face her painful situation all by herself. Lonely and helpless, she decided to adopt a child, Louie, and became a single mother instead.

As such, when everyone thought that the relationship was through, they were pleasantly surprised when Casey went ahead and saw Dawson. This was astounding, considering the fact that everyone thought that he already moved on through his attractive assistant. Regardless, he said that he was ready to win Dawson back.

Actually, Matt Olmstead, executive producer for this show told TV Line in an interview that there's a possibility for the two to get married by this season. However, regardless of this, the process of adopting the boy will not be sped up. He even went so far as to say that there will be something big for Casey and Dawson soon, and they're not going to treat it just like any episode.

But now, even with Casey already secure with what he wants, there's still a hint of doubt in Dawson. It's understandable since he abandoned her before just to pursue his endeavors. With this, fans are intrigued as to how it will pan out.

"Chicago Fire" will premiere on Oct. 11 at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
