In the next episode of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," Boruto Uzumaki (Yûko Sanpei) and the rest of the Hidden Leaf group plan to save their classmate Denki Kaminarimon (Chihiro Ikki) from kidnappers.

New footage was revealed for episode 27 of the hit anime series titled "A Shinobi Battle of Friendship" which showed Uzumaki, Mitsuki (Ryûichi Kijima) and the Hidden Leaf gang standing face-to-face with Kaminarimon's captors. The representative of Hidden Mist Academy Kagura Karatachi (Keisuke Komoto) was also there to side with Uzumaki.

It appears Karatachi wants to tell the Sixth Mizukage, Chojuro (Kôki Miyata), about the kidnapping of Kaminarimon. However, Uzumaki says, "If this gets big, the field trip will be cancelled. We'll make sure to proceed while keeping this thing under wraps." He then pleads with Karatachi to help them save their classmate.

It remains to be seen if Uzumaki, Kagura, and the rest of the gang can beat the older and tougher kidnappers.

In the last episode, the focus was on Karatachi who would one day become the successor of Chojuro, the Sixth Mizukage of Hidden Mist village. The youthful representative showed Uzumaki and his classmates around town. Later, he had a snack with the Hidden Leaf leader and Sarada Uchiha (Kokoro Kikuchi). He recounted how his village was once called Blood Mist many years ago when students had to kill one another in order to pass their training as well as survive.

Fortunately, Chojuro was able to turn the situation around and stop all the violence. The village gradually prospered and was called Hidden Mist eventually.

It looks though that trouble is brewing once again and Uzumaki along with Kagura have to stop it from getting any worse.

Episode 27 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will air on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 4:25 a.m. EDT with simulcast streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
