Last week on "The Bold and the Beautiful," Thomas asked Caroline what she and Ridge have in common, and Caroline told him that they just get each other and are a team. Thomas showed her his drawing, and Caroline gave him some advice about making his design fit with the California Freedom line. Thomas thanked her and said that he'd take it to his dad now.
Deacon told Brooke that he's happy being married to Quinn. Brooke arrived and kissed Deacon. Quinn wondered what Brooke was up to — has she been poisoning Deacon against her again? Brooke said that according to him, he's a happy man so she's happy for him as well. Quinn said that she loves Deacon and having Brooke's approval would make him happy. Brooke said that she recognizes that Quinn is Deacon's wife, and Quinn said that she'd take it. Talk turned to Ridge and Quinn said that she's happy working with him. She mentioned Thomas wanting to be part of the design team, and she said she has a feeling that he gets whatever he wants.
Inside Forrester Creations, Thomas showed off his sketch to Ridge, who ripped it in half. He said that they are trendsetters — they don't follow the pack, and that Thomas should be embarrassed. He told his son that if that's the best that he could come up with, then he's the last person that he'd hire.
In another office, Brooke and Caroline talked about Ridge and the success of their new collection. Caroline said that it's bound to get better if he hired Thomas. Brooke wondered when he'd start, and Caroline said that Ridge wanted Thomas to earn his spot just like everyone else. Brooke recalled that Caroline and Thomas were a couple once, and Caroline said that she couldn't even remember that time. Caroline said she's looking forward to working with Ridge and Thomas.
