Bobbi Kristina Brown death latest news: Tyler Perry breaks silence

Last week, Tyler Perry took to Facebook and in a heartfelt post, defended Bobbi Kristina Brown from those who falsely reported that the young woman has passed away. But after the 22-year old's death on Sunday, July 26, the 45-year old filmmaker found that he had no words to express his sadness over the untimely loss of the only child of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.

Following the death of Bobbi Kristina, many celebrities sent their condolences via social media, but Perry was silent. The filmmaker broke his silence on Tuesday, July 28, by tweeting, "I'm a writer with no words…Bobbi Kris."

A longtime close personal friend of Houston, Perry last posted a message on social media on July 17, days before Bobbi Kristina's death. In a Facebook post, he wrote, "This morning I woke up with Whitney on my mind. I couldn't help but think about all that she must have dreamed for her child. I know this was not her dream."

On Jan, 31, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta home. She never regained consciousness and was kept on life support. In June, she was transferred to hospice as her condition continued to deteriorate.

During her final hours, a source close to the family told Us Weekly that the family had Whitney's music played on a loop by the young woman's bedside. It was reported that Bobby Brown, Pat Houston, Gary Houston, and other family members joined together in prayer at the Atlanta hospice as Bobbi Kristina took her final breath. According to Entertainment Tonight, Bobbi Kristina's time of death was called at 8:17 p.m..

E! News reports that her funeral is scheduled to take place this Saturday in Georgia. According to NBC affiliate WXIA, the service will be held at St. James United Methodist Church, and her burial will be in New Jersey on Monday. Both services will be private.
