In the next episode of "Black-ish," Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) invites her friend to the house and Ruby starts to become absent-minded.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Elder Scam" was just released and showed Zoey inviting her friend Aaron (Trevor Jackson), who happens to be shirtless, to her room. Zoey's sister Diane (Marsai Martin) sees Aaron and immediately develops a crush on him. Meanwhile, mom Rainbow enters Zoey's room and notices Aaron. She is obviously surprised and tells her daughter, "A man in my teenager's bedroom." This does not go too well for Rainbow as Zoey pushes her out of the room.

In the meantime, Ruby appears to be getting more forgetful as Rainbow and her husband Andre (Anthony Anderson) notice her talking to the air and making hand gestures. "She also throws rocks at birds. I have seen it," Rainbow attests to Andre. Ruby also forgets that she is carrying her purse on her shoulder on one occasion. However, the most intense incident is when she crashes her car into the car park door.

It remains to be seen if Ruby is really becoming forgetful, or if she is just scamming Andre and Rainbow to achieve her own agenda.

In the last episode, Rainbow suffered from depression after having given birth to their youngest son Devante. Every time she would be in the company of her baby, she would feel sad and gloomy. Her husband Andre could not figure out why she was depressed until he finally just let her vent out her frustrations.

In the end, Rainbow gradually eased off a little and started being happier. Her other kids noticed her changing behavior and hugged her altogether. Andre was most pleased to see her happier.

"Black-ish" season 4 episode 3 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
