Abby Lee Miller news: Fans wonder why 'Dance Moms' dance instructor is still in jail

Apparently, Abby Lee Miller will not be dancing out of prison on her intended release date, which makes her "Dance Moms" fans worry why she is still not free.

It appears that there were some administrative delays involving prison over-budget in the institution where Miller landed. The delay for Miller's release was not personal, however, and was simply a product of unfortunate circumstances, at least according to Jennifer Myers, the same prison consultant and coach who worked with the "Dance Moms" star before she went to prison.

Myers explained that "Basically, the prisons pay for the inmates to go to halfway houses. In the past, let's say each warden had a budget for eight halfway house beds per month, they were often releasing 20 women to beds instead, because they wanted to help get them out. But the director of Federal Bureau of Prisons, Mark Inch, started a crackdown on the budgets, and is making sure they don't go over budget anymore."

Miller was supposed to be released into a halfway house in Van Nuys but the prison's over-budget situation meant that this had to be delayed. Miller was supposed to be released back on Feb. 20 and it is now nearly a month since her expected release date.

To make matters worse for Miller, she was kept in the dark regarding the delay for her release date, prompting her to freak out when she found out the news. The prison officials also did not seem to want to communicate to Miller about the delay and the situation which made the predicament even tougher for the 51-year-old dance instructor.

This was unfortunate since Miller was actually looking forward to her release with enthusiasm and even lost over 100 pounds of her body weight back in January and was even reported to be feeling great. Now the tables have turned and Miller will probably be issued a new early release date, though Myers claimed that there is no guarantee to this, just like last time.
