Since breaking up with fiancée Perrie Edwards this summer, Zayn Malik has been rumored to be dating other women, including model Neelam Gill. But a new Instagram photo shared by the former One Direction member over the weekend seems to imply that he is dating another woman, who some of his fans thought bears a resemblance to the Little Mix singer.

In the black and white photo, a shirtless Malik is seen embracing the mystery girl. Many of his followers asked who the girl is, and one of them berated the singer for his post and called him "heartless."

According to the Daily Mail, some fans speculated the girl is Gage Golightly, who plays Erica on "Teen Wolf." The website reports that a representative of the actress has denied that the picture is of her.

On Sunday, Sept. 27, the actress also took to Instagram to deny that she is the one getting cozy with Malik in the photo.

"Hi everyone, I just wanted to clarify that I am not the girl in the photo with Zayn Malik," she wrote. "But what a lucky girl! Love y'all- Gage."

Meanwhile, it was reported that Edwards has likewise moved on from her failed relationship with the former boy band member. The two were engaged for two years before Malik broke things off—allegedly via text message—back in August.

During a live performance last month, Edwards broke down in tears while singing her solo on the Little Mix song "The End." Bandmate Jesy Nelson explained that they had been doing back-to-back performances and had "no sleep," that's why they were a bit emotional. Nonetheless, fans immediately sympathized with Edwards after her breakdown onstage.

These days, Edwards is said to have moved on, with Nelson telling 3am that she is now enjoying the single life.

"Perrie is now also single [as well as Jade]—she's flying the flag. Of course they have lots of guys coming up to them all the time—they're gorgeous," Nelson said.

In the same interview with 3am, Edwards said that she has been having "an absolute blast" as she spends time with her friends at nightclubs.

"We have a bit of banter with guys in nightclubs…I love it," she said. "I love going out. I'm feeling brilliant and I'm in a good place."
