In the next episode of "Z Nation," Murphy (Keith Allan) and the rest of the survivors are captured by a mysterious group and placed in a strange underground facility.

The preview for the upcoming installment titled "The Unknowns" was just released recently and showed Murphy, Roberta Warren (Kellita Smith), and the others trapped in a maze-like facility with no way to get out. Warren meets another person who is trapped and asks her where they are. The fellow prisoner replies, "You don't know?" The survivors are in for a new danger with zombies at every turn. It seems that the people who created the place filled it with puzzles and booby-traps for the captives to experience. "We are slaves in the zombie funhouse of death!" Murphy warns Doc (Russell Hodgkinson).

The survivors try to get out of the death maze. Lucy (Tara Holt) runs up a staircase to escape from zombies while Sgt. Lily (Gracie Gillam) fights with one of the undead. Later, it seems like Warren has one of the captors in a headlock and will threaten him to get her group out of there. It remains to be seen if Murphy and the rest of the survivors will be able to get out of the zombie trap safely.

In the last episode, the group made their way through the Great Pile, a metal graveyard of old cars, appliances, and other junk. They were on their way to NewMerica because they did not trust in Warren's vision of what was in the east. However, when Warren saw a tower, she immediately looked for the radio and heard some voices coming from the east. The group heard it and realized that there were signs of life there. They eventually followed Warren and headed east.

"Z Nation" season 4 episode 5 will air on Friday, Oct. 27 at 9 p.m. EDT on the Syfy channel.
