Earlier this month, Yolanda and David Foster announced that they are splitting up after four years of marriage. In a joint statement released on Tuesday, Dec. 1, the ex-couple said that "sadly we have decided to go our separate ways." After two days, Yolanda made her first public appearance since their announcement, saying that she's doing "ok" after her split with the music producer.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet premiere of the new season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," the former model said that she has kept going, "one foot in front of the other" as she copes with the split and her ongoing battle with Lyme disease.

"Obviously, this is a difficult time and I'm heartbroken," said the reality star, "but [I'm] grateful to have my job and be dressed and up out of the bed."

Yolanda has been struggling with the debilitating disease since 2012, right after she and David got married. While the former couple has not disclosed the real reason for their split, a source told ET that they decided to divorce because "David is a very busy man, and always put work No. 1."

"He travels a lot for work and really did not scale back when Yolanda was ill," said the source to the website. The insider added that Yolanda's Lyme disease also took a toll on their marriage as she was diagnosed with the disease after their wedding.

David and Yolanda's split was a shock for fans of the show as many noted that the couple appeared to be very in love with each other. Yolanda's co-stars also expressed their surprise at the news, as Lisa Vanderpump said that she felt sad upon learning the news since she always thought that the two had an ideal union.

"I just feel very sad about that because I didn't expect it, and I always thought she always had this unbelievable marriage," said Vanderpump to reporters at the TrevorLIVE Los Angeles event last Sunday, as reported by Us Weekly.

Meanwhile, Yolanda reminded her fans on Twitter not to judge her split with the 65-year-old as David has been very good to her throughout their married life.

"We've grown apart but my love & respect for @officialdavidfoster is still the same, he's been very good 2 me so pls don't judge our journey!" she tweeted.
