Three upcoming Xbox One exclusives to be included in Xbox Game Pass Facebook/xbox

March is about to be another golden month for Xbox console owners as Microsoft has announced its lineup for games to rival Sony's PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) for the PlayStation console family.

It seems Microsoft, the owner of Xbox, really wants to steal the attention of console players this time, as the lineup includes the upcoming "Sea of Thieves" and the award-winning "Rise of the Tomb Raider." It should be noted that "Sea of Thieves" is yet to be released on March 20, but Microsoft assures that Xbox Game Pass owners will be able to play the game the moment it gets released worldwide.

"Sea of Thieves" is quite an exciting prospect for lots of roleplaying game (RPG) genre fans as it will deliver a pirate RPG/simulator unlike any other. Players will be able to customize everything from their characters to their ships and can choose to loot, raid, pillage, hunt bounties or simply cruise in the open seas in a large open-world crafted by the developers.

As for "Rise of the Tomb Raider," the game is the sequel to the reboot of the "Tomb Raider" franchise that began with 2013's "Tomb Raider" multiplatform video game. The game follows the exploits of female protagonist Lara Croft as she seeks to uncover the lost civilization of Kitesh in order to continue what her late father began as well as to clear his name. The game has received over 100 "best" nominations and awards.

Both AAA game access grants are part of Microsoft's initiative to bring premium first-party releases to their Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox One. As such, lots of Xbox One owners can expect more monthly surprises, as long as they maintain their monthly Game Pass membership at around $10 per month.

Other games include "Super Lucky's Tale," "Resident Evil 2: Revelations," "Sonic CD Saga," "Oxenfree," "The Final Station" and "Euro Fishing." All these will be available come March 1 for subscribers in addition to over 100 free games as part of the subscription service.
