Last week, it was reported that Vicki Gunvalson was dating a new man after she was spotted with Smith Walker at The Ranch in Anaheim, California on Friday, Nov. 6. The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star dated Brooks Ayers for four years before splitting up in August, and many thought that Gunvalson may have found a new love. But in a statement to Us Weekly via Gunvalson's rep, Walker denied the dating rumors, saying that he and the reality star are not in a romantic relationship.

"Contrary to media reports that are circulating, Vicki Gunvalson and I are not in a relationship," said Walker in his statement to the website. "I met Vicki five years ago during the taping of Season 5, while she was still married to Donn [Gunvalson]."

Although the two are not in a relationship, Walker said that the night out was a casual double date.

"I found myself in town visiting my son this weekend and decided to see if Vicki was doing okay after a hard year," he explained. "Along with another couple, Vicki and I went dancing. It's been one double date and that's it."

It certainly has been a difficult year for Gunvalson. Aside from her split with Ayers, the reality star also lost her mother while filming season 10 of "RHOC," and her reaction upon learning of her mother's death was captured on Bravo cameras. She was also involved in one of the most controversial storylines in the series as this season, the other ladies of the OC speculated that Ayers was faking his cancer.

Gunvalson stood up for Ayers and berated the Housewives for speculating about his condition, which ultimately led to the destruction of her friendship with Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, and Tamra Judge. On Dubrow's podcast last week, all three women said that they didn't care to film with Gunvalson anymore as they claimed that she was dishonest about Ayers' condition.
