"Trails in the Sky the 3rd" to arrive on the PC this May Steam/Trails in the Sky the 3rd

Last Friday, via Twitter, XSEED has announced that "The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd" is coming to PC on May 3. The post indicates that the title will cost $29.99, but, on the first week, gamers will be able to purchase the game for 10 percent less.

PC gamers will need to have at least 5 GB of available space, 512 MB of RAM, and a 32 MB VRAM, 3D accelerator compatible with Direct X9.0c graphics card to play the game.

The game will soon be made available on Steam, Good Old Games (GOG), and on The Humble Store.

The title will be the final installment of the "Trails in the Sky" trilogy. The release of the western version of the game comes 10 years after its Japanese counterpart.

"Trails in the Sky" will be set a year after the events in the preceding title. Ancient artifacts will stir the storyline of the game. The game follows the story of Fr. Kevin Graham who undertakes a routine mission for the Septian Church. On their mission, Graham and his partner will face scenarios where both have to face the consequences of their past. In the upcoming installment, gamers can expect to see the fan-favorite cast and NPCs of the franchise.

To add, Nihon Falcom has added new tracks, has brought back familiar tactics, and has added exciting new combat scenarios to the gameplay.

Another upcoming XSEED role-playing title (RPG) title, "Trails of Cold Steel," will be available on Windows PCs starting next month. The game publisher has yet to reveal a specific date, but it has confirmed that compared to the previous title, the upcoming installment of "Trails of Cold Steel" will have additional voice-over dialogue, 5,000 lines more than the last.

"Trails in the Sky" will debut on May 3 on PCs. It will cost $29.99.

More updates should arrive soon.
