NeNe Leakes' fans were devastated when the reality star announced earlier this week that she won't be returning to "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," but it won't be long until she makes her return to television. It has been confirmed that she is teaming up with Betty White for the revival of the 1950's game show "To Tell the Truth" on ABC.

Leakes made the announcement on Wednesday via a post on her website, Neneleakes.com, telling her fans that when one door closes, another one opens.

"Your girl is returning to primetime network TV on the new ABC variety series To Tell the Truth with Betty White and Anthony Anderson," she wrote. "I start filming tomorrow."

The network will air six episodes in which Leakes, White, and two other celebrity panelists will try to guess which of the three contestants are lying and which one is telling the truth. As with the original game show, all three persons will be claiming that they have the same job, talent, or achievement. The panel of celebrities will have a chance to grill each participant before taking turns deciding who is telling the truth.

Anderson will be hosting the new series, and his mother, Doris, will be the show's official score keeper and will also get to ask questions of her own. And in a modern twist, the celebrity panelist who performs the worst will have to take to Twitter to post a lie about themselves to the world. No premiere date has been announced as of the moment.

The game show marks Leakes' first official TV booking since announcing that she won't be returning to "RHOA."

In an official statement released on Monday, June 29, the reality star said, "Being part of RHOA has been a big part of my life but I'm excited for new beginnings I am pursuing and embarking upon."

Aside from the ABC game show revival, Leakes has recently teamed up with Kim Kardashian, who has made the 47-year old a part of her "glam squad" on her very successful app, "Kim Kardashian Hollywood."
