In the next episode of "This Is Us," Kate Pearson (Chrissy Metz) reveals to fiancé Toby Damon (Chris Sullivan) that their pregnant. Deja (Lyric Ross) tags along with Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Kevin (Justin Hartley) to a charity fundraiser.

The preview for the upcoming installment titled "Brothers" was released just recently and showed Kate looking at the pictures of her baby fetus. "We're pregnant," she reveals to her partner Damon who is shocked with surprise. He has always wanted a kid and it seems that not only does he need to oversee their wedding but he also has to deal with the excitement of having a baby. Fans will get to see his full reaction in the coming episode.

In the meantime, Kevin invites his adopted brother Randall to a gala fundraiser for Sophie's (Alexandra Breckenridge) hospital. Randall's adoptee Deja unexpectedly wants to come along which prompts his wife Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) to show some concern. Apparently, the kid comes from a broken home and has some issues.

Beth has some concerns about her unpredictable behavior. However, Randall assures Beth and says, "It is my opportunity to connect with her." It remains to be seen how Deja will carry herself at the sophisticated gala and if Randall will be able to contain her if she acts out in public.

In the last episode, Deja did not wash her hair as an act of rebellion towards Beth and Randall, who were very patient with her. One day, Beth recounted to the kid a touching story which motivated her to wash her hair. Beth told Randall about her breakthrough with Deja. Unfortunately, when the kid found out that Beth told her husband about their bonding moment, she resented them and cut off her long hair.

"This is Us" season 2 episode 5 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
