Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Christine arrived at the hospital with an officer to take Adam to prison. But Victor told her that according to the judge, Adam's injuries were quite serious so he was granted a few days to stay in the hospital. Christine reluctantly allowed this, but she had Adam handcuffed to the bed.

Meanwhile, the fire at Newman's Enterprises took almost all of Victor's assets, and some people extended offers to help him rise again, such as Luca. Luca said that his family wanted to help Victor, but the tycoon said that his previous dealing with his family was a failure. Jack also offered to help Victor rebuild his company and even told him that he's welcome to use some office space at Jabot. But Victor refused, saying that he can rebuild his company without Jack's help.

Sage grieved for the loss of her child and while at first she didn't want to go to the memorial, Adam convinced her that to say goodbye to her son. Victor told Adam that he knew why he was so affected by the loss of Sage's baby—it's because the baby is his. Adam denied it, and talk turned to the company and Victor told him that he wanted them to work together to rebuild Newman Enterprises. After a bit of thinking, Adam agreed to work with his father.

This week, Victor will make a surprising announcement about his plans for the company, while Billy rejoices in Adam's misfortune. Time is running out for Adam as he only has a few days left at the hospital, and soon, Christine will be coming to take him to jail. Meanwhile, Sharon gets closer to the truth about what has been happening to her in the institution.
