'The Young and the Restless' Jan. 18 to 22 spoilers: Billy wakes up

Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Jack was faced with the difficult decision to keep Billy on life support or to let him go. Michael said that Billy specifically mentioned in his will that he didn't want to be kept alive by machines. Later, John's ghost appeared and told Jack that if he decides to let Billy go, he will be alright.

Jack reached a decision—he will take Billy off life support. Jill was furious and told him that she won't have it and that she won't allow him to kill her son. But Jack wasn't swayed and he had everyone go to the hospital to say their final goodbyes. Ashley, Abby, Traci, Kevin, Phyllis, Adam and Chelsea all said goodbye to him, and Victoria went in with Katie and Johnny, telling them to tell their daddy "sweet dreams." Jack went in and gave the signal to the nurse, who shut off the machines.

At the penthouse, Chelsea saw someone taking Adam outside, with his head in a black bag. Chelsea met with Marisa and told her that the Santoris must be behind his kidnapping. Later, Victor received an email telling him to give up "the girl" in exchange for Adam.

At the hospital, Billy was still hanging on as he was seen having an out-of-body experience, telling his family that he is still alive and they should cheer up. Later, Delia appeared and told him to stay and fix things, so he went back to his body and the machine started beeping. Victoria urged Billy to wake up and he did for a brief moment before losing consciousness again.

This week, Chelsea worries about Adam's safety while Victor turns to Kevin for help. Meanwhile, Victoria continues to hope for a miracle for Billy while Jack blames himself for what happened to Billy. At the hospital, Billy wakes up and reconnects with Victoria.
