After weeks of hype and theories on who the mystery crossover person will be for AMC's zombie series "The Walking Dead"-"Fear The Walking Dead" crossover, fans finally get to know the lucky character.
It was recently revealed that "The Walking Dead's" Lennie James, who plays Morgan, will be seen in the fourth season of "Fear the Walking Dead." This information answers the question on which show the crossover character will appear in. This news was announced on Sunday, in the "Talking Dead" show, where a recap of the freshly-aired episode was explained.
This news was first hinted by a tweet a day before the "Talking Dead" even aired. "TOMORROW you will discover on @AMCTalkingDead who from #TheWalkingDead will join #FearTWD Season 4! Who do you think it is??" Skybound's "The Walking Dead" account wrote, revealing that the character will come from the mother show. The post was since deleted, as well as the account.
How Morgan could enter the scene in "Fear The Walking Dead" was undisclosed. Morgan was introduced in "The Walking Dead" early on when he was encountered by lead Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), who had no idea of what had transpired during his stay at the hospital.
The announcement of the character had shut down all other theories, including one which seemed to have garnered much support from fans. The predicted character in the crossover was Abraham Ford, played by Michael Cudlitz, who met his death in the season 7 premiere, along with Steven Yeun's Glenn.
Fans were quick to say that Abraham was the one, as the finale of "Fear The Walking Dead" saw Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Proctor John (Ray McKinnon) talking about a trading system in Texas, which was where Abraham was established to be from in "The Walking Dead." Cudlitz further fueled speculation when he took to social media to leave a cryptic message, saying, "See y'all on the other side."
